Thanks for the support Paul! I fully agree that it would increase safety. As a side note: its wonderful to see Edgewood Park so well used. We were never able to play there alone as kids and it seems that it has totally changed for the better. This skatepark continues to be a huge success.

Thanks for the feedback. In accordance with Sec. 19-5 of the code of ordinances the park closes at sunset unless the area is lit, at which point it becomes 10pm. We are considering making that change and appreciate your input.

Thanks! An additional thought: folks skate in the park at dusk and it becomes less safe without the light even as the sun is setting. Maybe just starting with the light on till 9:00 would be helpful.
