The even side of the street has not been clean for the last four months please can someone it’s scheduled on Wednesdays between nine and two is there anyway possible that this could be done? There has been construction work

We need a tracking device installed on this street cleaner so we can see him sitting at Ontario and Second for most of the day….

DGS street cleaners work on a ten to fifteen day schedule to ensure that every street in the City of Albany gets cleaned on a regular basis. The majority of street sweeping happens between 11:00PM and 7:00AM. Please know that this street has been added to the list for cleaning, and DGS staff will clean this street as soon as practicable. Please keep in mind that in some neighborhoods, street cleaning times will be dictated by alternate side parking restrictions. However, alternate side parking restrictions are not exclusively used for street sweeping.

Thank you for responding to my request. However, I’m not sure if you are up-to-date on street cleaning times for West Street, the alternate parking is 9 AM to 2 PM two days a week Wednesday /thursday . Also what would be the purpose of alternate parking if not to clean, especially given that there is very limited parking with all the tenants on the street. My complaint is that the even side is not done regularly for some reason it is ignored on a regular basis. Could you please put us on the list to be cleaned every Wednesday between the hours of 9 AM and 2 PM as the street signs reflect for alternative parking .

They aren’t even going to acknowledge you. The street cleaner operator(s) need to be fired. They don’t take pride in their job.
