I have worked in this area for over three years now and this spot get worse by the month even after a "supposed" repair. What a disgrace as it is right down from the public works department!

Here's a photo. No rain in almost 3 weeks; leads me to believe there is also a water leak.

This is dangerous & destructive to our cars. Patching the holes only lasts a few days and they wash out again. We have reported this for years and nothing is done to FIX the problem.

Any progress on fixing this?

Folks, this is absolutely unacceptable. Is your department even competent and capable of doing anything? Why are we still having to complain about this? If you can't (or won't) get this fixed then you need to get out of the way and let someone else do the job. This is beyond pitiful. You should be ashamed.

I'm not sure why this was closed. I came thru there this morning and I don't see any difference. I'll wait and see if work starts at the end of the month, as promised. If not, I guess I'll need to address it at a County Commission meeting and with the Mayor's office.

Why is this closed??? Nothing has changed except that it has gotten worse.

Someone has to be able to get things moving on this project. Patching holes is not the answer. The road has not been leveled with concrete. It's is like bouncing through an obstacle course to go through there.

It may be under contract, but I think the issue needs to stay open until the work is actually completed.

It's shameful that you keep closing this issue. In the private sector, this would not be tolerated, and it is especially awful in the public sector, which is funded by taxpaying individuals and businesses. This issue should not be closed until the problem is fixed, or until the project is well underway. When is the work going to actually start? Look at the dates on this thread! You've tried to close this twice, and nothing has been done! Shameful is an understatement.

Ashley Baldschun, you are sadly mistaken if you think this issue is actually closed until the work begins, but I will let it slide for now. I expect the project to start soon, and if it doesn't, I will reopen this issue and insist on an update.
