ben, I see you get the same stock answer we do, and it's already been months. I was across the street and saw where your offices are. I hope the block gets cleaned up, for everybody's sake, and that you don't move from there and thus abandon ship. Can you call channel 8 about it? We need to take Chapel Street back!!
thank for your comment neighbor… I have been trying to address issues on these two blocks of chapel st. I have found out today that the powers that be consider me a nuisance and complainer…I give up going to put my head in a bag, close the curtains and pretend I'm someplace nicer
It's okay to be a nuisance... don't quit.. for a democracy to work we need some "nuisances". Complaining needs to be balanced by positive and constructive efforts. Democracy depends on each person contributing in constructive ways... So maybe add to the complaint an offer to help.
What is that thing anyway?
I'm sometimes considered 'a complainer' too, but neighbor 3 is right. The think is, as 3 said, we need to balance the complaints with some positive ideas and actually helpful actions.
I saw that thing as was passing by awhile ago.. It looks like there were some workers there and they just left that there, possibly as a temporary marker for that hole,, but it should have been taken care of within the same week, and they probably forgot it. I almost moved it out of the way myself, but decided to wait for 'proper authorities' .
This got acknowledged on 5-11. Nothing is done yet?
