Once again this is the situation in front of 137 Willow St in Cambridge on trash night. Overflowing trash and recycling bins. Multiple plastic bags that will be ruptured by rats both at night and in daylight The whole street dreads this every week The sidewalk is completely blocked. Traffic is stopped to the corner as the public work trucks try to empty all this in the morning ...

If staff arrived days after trash collection, then they would not have found this. The issue is that they have overflowing bins with multiple trash bags on the ground and on top that are eaten through by rats. One such bag was left on the sidewalk half eaten by rats for two whole days this week. Perhaps more bins should be provided for this residence.
