Parking Enforcement Officer issuing illegal tickets. 8-1-3-7 CITATIONS ISSUED BY UNIFORMED, ON-DUTY OFFICERS.All citations issued under this Traffic Code shall be issued by a uniformed, on-duty police officer. No form of complaint other than a citation shall be issued.('74 Code, § 9-5-21.7) (Ord. 65-1974) This officer is out of uniform. Parking officers are required to have department shoulder patches on their uniform shirts. Polo shirts are required to have officers name embroidered on it with an embroidered badge. If these items are missing the officer is not in uniform. Supervisors admit this "new hire" is waiting for their uniforms.

"Received. The officer had a Polo with her name under her body armor and the DEPT Patch on the left side of her Polo. She also had an enforcement badge on her armor. So, she was dressed in her assigned uniform."
