Description
Per these now archived issues, http://seeclickfix.com/issues/997712 and http://seeclickfix.com/issues/928794 we still need a left turn green arrow on Whitaker Mill to Glenwood heading south. The southbound traffic on Fairview has the right of way, however they can make *FIVE* possible turns. This makes it extremely dangerous for the Whitaker Mill traffic as well as pedestrians frequently crossing during that part of the light cycle.
Additionally, there is serious traffic at the light that can back up past Sunset Dr. during morning and evening rush hours. The light is longer now, and is better during non-peak hours, though the traffic danger remains at all times, even with just a few cars.

I saw a light configuration out near Greensboro that would be ideal for this intersection.
For the traffic turning left from Whitaker Mill to Glenwood South (70E), it should have an initial protected green of 30 seconds or so, and then switch to a *blinking* yellow for the remainder of the cycle until solid yellow, and then red.

As for the traffic backing up on Fairview, you must understand that Glenwood is the major artery. While we will monitor that area we do not anticipate changing the cycle times.
