  • Capital Blvd Raleigh, NC, 27603, USA - Mordecai
On the Fairview road on-ramp to Capital Blvd south, there is a large concrete block in the gutter.
  • 1901-1999 Sunset Dr Raleigh, NC, 27608, USA - Five Points
This abandoned bike has been chained to this sign post for over a month.
  • 2001 Mccarthy St Raleigh, NC, 27608, USA - Five Points
This abandoned bike has been chained to this sign post for over a month
  • 1922-1924 Sunset Drive Raleigh, North Carolina - Five Points
The 25 MPH sign limit on Sunset is very loose in the ground. It is also very dirty.
  • 401 West Whitaker Mill Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Five Points
Looks like it was bumped by a vehicle and is 180 degrees the wrong direction now.
  • 1906 Sunset Drive Raleigh, North Carolina - Five Points
Two signs were bent over apparently by late night drunkards.
  • 1700 Glenwood Avenue Raleigh, North Carolina - Five Points

The pedestrian signal button in front of the Baptist Church is dangling from the pole. Seems to operate for now, but not for long in it's current state.

Also, the sign indicating the direction is also missing.

  • 583-599 West Whitaker Mill Road Raleigh, North Carolina - Five Points

Per these now archived issues, http://seeclickfix.com/issues/997712 and http://seeclickfix.com/issues/928794 we still need a left turn green arrow on Whitaker Mill to Glenwood heading south. The southbound traffic on Fairview has the right of way, however they can make *FIVE* possible turns. This makes it extremely dangerous for the Whitaker Mill traffic as well as pedestrians frequently crossing during that part of the light cycle.

Additionally, there is serious traffic at the light that can back up past Sunset Dr. during morning and evening rush hours. The light is longer now, and is better during non-peak hours, though the traffic danger remains at all times, even with just a few cars.

  • 402 W Whitaker Mill Rd Raleigh, North Carolina - Five Points
At the intersection of W Whitaker Mill and Sunset is a utility pole tie down that was left in the ground next to the sidewalk. I watched jogger try to avoid a baby stroller, only to trip on this thing and fall, cutting her knee. Blood streamed down her leg, but fortunately she didn't break anything. This is a liability for the power company.
  • 401 W Whitaker Mill Rd Raleigh, North Carolina - Five Points

The cross walk signals and controls have all been disconnected at W Whitaker Mill and Sunset since the water main replacement last summer. The are covered with plastic. There is a lot of pedestrian traffic at this corner, especially children.

Also the light is long to react. Unlike the timing at Glenwood a block away which has been extended, this light should react more quickly. This slows down traffic in this dense residential area and reduces lots of pointless waiting for cars on Sunset.
