The problem is overflow from 102nd Ave. Traffic going West on 102nd avoids 102nd by taking 110th West then jogging back down to 102nd and making a legal right onto 102nd to continue West again. I wrote, I've called, and been told to setup my own mini-government to tell the county government to fix the problem. The only fix is widening 102nd West of 113th St. No, I'm not setting up a Homeowner Association, mini-government, to tell county to fix this. Good luck with your request. After 5:00 you can bring a chair and beer and we can watch the afternoon wrecks toether. There's a park with a great view. Better than Daytona crashes. It's so easy to change the blinking light to a regular one! There are a lot of kamikaze drivers on this intersection, so much so that I have to go out of my way to get away from this intersection!

I've seen a lot of Daytona crashes. Maybe Pinellas should start charging for seats to see all the action at this intersection.

Commissioners came for a "Discussion", but talked time away. 1st question was 102nd Ave, & to use up time, gave a complete history about traffic jams & the votes of those WHO LIVE ON 102nd that didn't want widening. Who cares about any of that? The point is those who live on 110th Ave pay the price. Also, any poor fool that chooses to cut through our neighborhoods 110th. Discussion involves more than just commissioners talking. They even handed out slips to write your question on; like there'd be time for us to speak. I left the one hour "Discussion" at 6:40 when only THREE people got to speak.

This is simple, convert the flashing yellow lights into a normal traffic light at 113 St / 110 Ave. I'm sure this will at least improve safety at this intersection and deter cut through traffic on 110 Ave.
