Sharraxaadda

Saturday evening, after visiting a friend who lives on RI, I was walking to the subway with three friends. As we passed the Roosevelt Island Cafe, near the subway, my foot caught on a metal barrier that was leaning against scaffolding, the hook leg was sticking out. I fell and injured my knee and elbow, abrasions and bloodied my shirt and pants. Nothing broken, but I am still bruised and sore. We could see no reason why that barrier was there and why it was left with the hook leg sticking out.
