I help with neighborhood maintenance in The Village on Powers Ferry, We have 7 stop signs that are missing a "No Parking within 30 Feet of stop Sign OCGA 40-6-203" sign.
Additionally There are 2 stop signs missing from Chipmunk Trail SE at Fox Ln. This should be a 3 way stop.
Additionally we have problems with stop sign runners at all intersections. Can a White Line at the stop sign be painted on the street to add additional visual encouragement to come to a complete stop?

Hello:
We will be reviewing the community this week to determine all signs that need to be updated to the current federal standards we follow here at the County. Because the State Law parking sign is no longer an accepted practice, we cannot reinstall those signs inside the community. If the law is being violated, Cobb PD should be contacted for enforcement purposes. We will review the necessity for additional stop bar striping; however, if the stop signs are currently being ignored, the striping will not provide a permanent fix for this occurrence.
