Incomplete sidewalks Open

Church Road And Old Concord smyrna, GA - Smyrna

Please complete the incomplete sidewalk from the bridge on church road to Ennisbrook. Also please complete the incomplete sidewalk on old concord between church road and concord road. You have to walk or bike into traffic just to get to concord road from church. This is dangerous and both dangerous incomplete sidewalks could be corrected with just a few feet of concrete to connect these sidewalks.

  I can understand that maybe that Old Concord Road is Cobb County but how can the sidewalk on church between innisbrook and brookpark subdivisions be cobb county?
  
  The stretch of sidewalk that I am referring to is between and on the same side as ennisbrook subdivision and Brookside Park Subdivision which is part of the Smyrna city limits. I am only referring to the sidewalk on the same side of those two communities between the entrance to Innisbrook and the entrance to Autumn Brook Road (Brookside Park). It is maybe 50 to 100 feet of sidewalk that needs to be completed. The other side of the street is Cobb county but this is part of Smyrna,

light too short at Atlanta Rd. & Spring St. Open

  Agree...they seem to give preference to Atlanta road, even at times where is no traffice. In the morning at 5:30 am there are never any cars on Atlanta road but those of us on Spring have to wait forever for the light. They need to have triggering things there where who ever has the traffic gets the green!!!

Traffic Light too long Open

1420 Spring Road Southeast Smyrna, Georgia - Smyrna

Traffic light is green too long for North/South bound traffic (not enough traffic to warrant the duration) and when the light does cycle the east to west bound traffic gets a green left turn arrow even when cars are not present in the turn lane. This makes the west to east bound traffic wait upwards 2mins for the lights to cycle during early morning hours between 0400-0700.

Concord Road Traffic Open

766 Concord Road Southeast Smyrna, Georgia - Smyrna

The traffic signal program should be oriented to reflect a greater need for un-obstructed and un-encumbered drive for west to east travel on Concord/Spring Road during morning hours 0400-0900. Too much time is spent at red lights with no opposing traffic. Sensors should utilized more-over than timed programming.

Traffic Light Red with no opposing traffic Open

Light at King Street and Concord will change to allow traffic from King Street to travel onto Concord even when no cars are present, during early morning hours 0400-0700.

Traffic traveling East bound on Hurt Road SE waits more than a minute and half for light to cycle during early morning hours, 0400-0700. There are ground sensors in the lanes but do not affect the signal program during that time.

How about getting Cobb County and Smyrna to fix the lack of sidewalks or sidewalks that arent complete in the Cobb county and Smyrna area. Examples include..an incomplete/not connected sidewalk on Church road near ennisbrook drive and incomplete/no conntected sidewalks on old concord and church..making it dangerous to walk in that area.

The intersection is too wide for pedestrian safety. S. Cobb Drive and the feeling of walk-ability. Medians are needed to provide refuge for pedestrians.
