Dear City Agency,
I am posting to request your attention and action about potentially unlawful noise.
The noise appears to be coming from Etcetera Wine Bar, located in the Mission District, at 795 Valencia St, San Francisco, CA 94110.
The noise comes from loud, disruptive music being played from inside the bar around late hours of the night.
Other characteristics include:
The bar leaves its doors open which lets the sound escape out onto the street. This disrupts residents living in the area who need to be sleeping at certain hours.
I measured the noise at 11 pm, on April 3rd, adjacent to the location, using the SPLnFFT Noise Meter. The noise level was a one minute average of 68 dB A with a maximum of 74 dB A.
Please refer this request to the Department of Public Health and the Police Department, who I understand to be responsible for these types of noise sources.
