It is increasingly clear the City does not understand how dangerous this is. A slab of stucco 2-3" thick and approximately 10'x8' is poised to fall three stories onto the sidewalk. The area needs to be barricaded. We need action. Please be responsive. Someone could be killed.

The gap has widened considerably. Collapse appears imminent. This was first reported on April 8, nine days ago. The mass of stucco siding is four stories above the sidewalk below. When, not if, but when it falls it could endanger lives. The City has been aware of this for at least seven business days. When will someone act?

Yes! It has gotten worse with the rain this last week. Something needs to happen now not next week when they have their inspection. Children live in this building. People and their kids and daycare children pass by this part of the building all day long.

To put everyone's mind at ease we are slated to have this work done next week. This has been on our radar since before anything was even posted on seeclickfix and we have been taking action to resolve the issue since it was discovered. Please understand that an issue of this nature doesn't get fixed overnight by "Joe the everyday handyman." It requires a consulting a skilled/reputable mason and the process of finding one and scheduling the job takes time. We have barricaded off part of the side walk with caution tape in the meantime.

This issue has been occuring for three years. It takes less than a month to pull together repairs. Nobody is listening to your damage control PR comments, A Team Management. We, the neighborhood, can SEE your inability to take care of that building.
