Wow....that is unbelievable! We have ginkgo trees on our block. In the past they would post notices on the trees of spraying dates for female trees( marked with yellow dots) . Last year they never sprayed our block & they dropped loads of berries. Sweeping them into the gutter for street sweepers to remove them helps, but most people don't bother & it becomes a mess.
