I have been living in the Enright Street area for most of my life and I still walk past the homes on this end of the street during the summer. This street has always been one of classiest streets in the area with well maintained homes and properties. The original owner of this home at #15 was a friend of mine and also my butcher. When he lived here the home and property were well maintained. If he was able to see this property today he would be shocked. Over the past 10 or so years this home and property have gone downhill and the present owner should be ashamed. The present tenants are slobs and the owner should evict them. This property has become known as the 'Enright Street Dump' and is a disgrace to neighboring properties and owners. As soon as the City gets the Blight Committee in action, this property should be at the top of the priority list. Councilman O'Brien should push the committee for action.

The city now has a blight ordinance. This property is due to be inspected in June. Appropriate notices and fines will be instituted.
