Description

Advocate newspaper box is unused, broken; and now a receptacle for street litter. Can these be removed? They are really unsightly.

This is the Advocate box with the dead bird, featured in the New Haven Independent article on Monday (July 29th). This morning it was gone, removed by?? So far, no one has even acknowledge any of my Abandoned Newspaper Box postings. One down, many more to go....

Yesterday a Hartford Courant guy replaced the box out front of Nica's with a new one and plastered CTNow.com stickers over the Advocate lettering. Nothing was placed inside the box.

Box has been finally removed. It only took many complaints and an Independent article to shame/remind the CT NOW people to take responsibility for their property.
