If this was at 126 Merrimack St, that was put in by a private contractor working for the new restaurant. We reset the road box top, but this is something you need to take up with the company that did the work. This was not a job that was completed by the city, nor for the city.

The CITY! Needs to make them correct this!!

The city has spoken to the contractor to address this immediately, and will follow up accordingly to make sure this issue is resolved. In regard to the damaged tire, you would need to contact the contractor.

The city issued the permits to allow this company to work on the roads and never did the inspection after said work was done. If anything the city should bill the contractor for the mistake and I shouldn’t have to go thru so many loops just to fix my tire on a public roadway.
