The HOA had an electrician come out last year and he advised they are not alllowed to disconnect the City's meter to reset the post. This post and meter was originally installed by the City.
Correction yes The Cove of Nantucket HOA. The City will come out there to pull the meter or disconnect the service when the electrician is ready for us to. He would just need to call 855-528-4278 and leave a message. We will send our trouble man out there to do whichever he needs for him to do. I would think that he would need to pull a permit for this also but am not 100% sure on that and once completed he would need to get a green tag from an inspector. That would depend on the work that needs to be done.
And yes the City originally installed all of that. Once we did the initial installation, the HOA took it over. We do a lot of installations similar to that.
Thank you
The HOA can install a new post but a licensed electrician will need to do the rest. The only thing the City will do is disconnect the service for the electrician so his work can be done safely and reconnect it (this includes pulling the meter from the meter can, and reinstalling the meter once everything has been inspected by the city inspectors). The best thing to do is call a licensed electrician, he will know what work needs to be done. If he has questions he can call us at 855-528-4278.
Thanks
