Description
There is a dedicated lane for turning right from 352N onto RT 1N. The lane has a solid white line meaning people should not cross it. Unfortunately, people from 352N sit and needlessly watch the RT 1N traffic pass them by instead of reasonably turning into their lane (after a full stop.) Further, people traveling RT 1N shouldn't cross that solid line as they try to move onto the RT 1 bypass.

Here's a really good way to think about it (from another site).
"One of the senior officers in my department told me that yellow lines (dashed and solid) indicate that traffic will be flowing in the opposite direction on the other side of the line and that white lines (dashed and solid) indicate that traffic will be flowing in the same direction on the other side of the line. He said that regardless of color, the dashed and solid lines mean the same thing, though: it is either ok to cross the line or it is not."
