The statements here are expressing that as this business park has become busier with multiple weekly and monthly events, the people driving these roads are seeing more and more instances of pedestrians crossing in multiple areas across the road regardless of cars moving in same area, cars constantly making u-turns across double lines or just coming to stops in the middle of the road and letting people out. It is becoming more and more unsafe for drivers and pedestrians alike. It doesn't take much to see that sooner or later these will involve accidents between cars and people. There are times when an off duty officer is stopping cars constantly to allow people to cross but not always and they only cover one crossing point and not able to handle it. Most of these events are at dark or dusk when the sun blasts directly low and down that road making driving West especially blinding. I have personally had to slam my brakes at least three times in the last year to avoid contact. That's just one driver. We can all either wait for the inevitable or be proactive in finding proper solutions beforehand. Since I have seen this come up more and more often the City is now aware of the problem being expressed and I fear opens them up to liability for when accidents happen. These issues are occurring not on the business's land but on the public roads operated around them. Let's do the right thing for all and keep drivers and pedestrians safe by solving it. The current scenario is not working.
