Description

After a drunk driver sideswiped cars on Garfield and landed their car on someone's staircase and then trying to flee, I called 911. My report was met with the worst attitude and disrespect possible. I gave them the most approximate address I could by telling them I was on Garfield and just South of Myrtle. She said bc I didn't have the address she couldn't help. Garfield and Myrtle is the address! Do you know the addresses of your neighbors across the street and up a block?? It was unbelievable, I could see it from my unit and even gave her my address. She went on to argue with me and then hung up on me. This is an emergency line?? COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! I pay with taxes for this?? This is going to Gilmore.
