I definitely understand what you're saying. It's just a matter of them handling their business stuff. They need to handle it but we can't "make them" if that make sense. It's becoming more a civil issue now.

Meaning they will do nothing and will just let us go without hot water for however long it takes the complex and gas company to deal with it. We do not matter.

I don’t understand how there isn’t some type of protocol for a situation like this. This is insane… I bet the judge will understand when we don’t pay our rent because we can’t even take showers to get ready for work

There should be, but law enforcement and city have no interest anymore in dealing with it. I wouldn't be surprised that the former owners didn't pay their last set of bills and the new company refuses and would rather us all just deal with cold water for the next few months while they get to go home to hot water.

Why would they want to take over somewhere the bills weren’t paid? None of this makes sense & cannot be legal

The fact that the new management hasn’t sent out one email or piece of correspondence regarding the issue is extremely unacceptable and unprofessional as well.

Even worse, when you ask for a timeline or any update they shrug and say they don't know its all the gas company's fault.
