Perhaps the riverwalk should be worked on more than once a year since it is a part of the famous North Country Trail and is the only experience with Marshall that some people will have! Also, spring has come and passed, was this issue ever resolved?

We have a crew doing maintenance on the riverwalk now.

We agree that more could be done but as always, it is a question of budgets and manpower and those are in limited supply. The same crew that maintains the riverwalk maintains streets, sewer, forestry, parks, compost, cemetery, and all that happens downtown.

The crew is working hard every day to get work done.
