I lived here in this area for 43 years... that light always been like that. And never been an issue. The light they're waiting turns green before any other lights change.

Thats so strange. .. maybe they have made some changes. You may also be referring to traffic in the other direction -- I'm referring to traffic that is turning left from the southbound exit ramp off of South Capitol and proceeding on to Malcolm X Drive going West.

I know exactly what you talking about. I just.made that left around the time you posted this. I had to make sure my vehicle wasn't in the picture. Didn't want my boss to know I left work early.

I'll take a video and upload here -- just realized I can do that -- this view is from the JBAB main gate looking east, and the light timing absolutely is an issue. Unsure what other poster is referring to but welcome his/her documentation to supplement his/her point of view.

(error in my post 3/18; the traffic being held is proceeding EAST, not west.)
