Turning left off of South Capitol Street is forced to hold part way through the intersection at the intermediate stop light. Resulting traffic backup leaving vehicles stranded in the roadway. No should be adjusted to allow turning traffic flow through the entire intersection in the same manner utilized at intersection of South Capitol and M Street.

Sign New Investigation Archived36-52 I St Se Washington, District of Columbia - Capitol HillPlease install in road pedestrian crossing signage in this crosswalk IMMEDIATELY. Drivers do not stop for pedestrians at this location despite on otherwise well marked crosswalk, because they are visually distracted by the intersection at Eye and South Capitol Sts SE. Installing in Road pedestrian signs will give drivers a visual reference point and hopefully prevent the multiple near misses and altercations which take place at this crosswalk. Please expedite.

Sign Replacement Archived75-99 I St Se Washington, District of Columbia - Capitol HillPlease reinstall the in-road stop signs and crosswalk signs on all three sides of the intersection at Eye & First Sts SE. Roadway Marking Installation Archived51 I St Se Washington, District of Columbia - Capitol HillPlease install crosswalk on the east side of the intersection at i Street and half Street southeast. Residents of apartment buildings consistently fail to use crosswalk present on west side of intersection resulting in multiple near misses everyday.
