I noticed that not only in this area, but all over the East Street/Poqunock Avenue area the Reminder News was just tossed all over the road, not even in areas where there were houses/mail boxes. I tried to call them and I got such a run around about trying to report the issue that I finally just had to give up. Their customer service was not helpful and they didn't really even seem to understand why I was calling to make a complaint. It appears that on several days, one or more of their drivers just didn't want to hang the Reminder News on the mailbox post hooks and decided to just toss them all over town.

An inspection done on 3/30/15 found that the condition had been improved.

I respectfully disagree that this is closed. As late as last week the Reminder delivery people are still throwing the paper in driveways and the street. They are ignoring individual callers and need the town to force the issue.

Please contact the Health Department Code Inspector at 860-285-1825. I would like to obtain further information in order to reach a more satisfactory resolution to this issue. Thank you for your time.
