Description

Springside Ave has more furniture than most houses. Here are three couches and a box spring tossed on the side of the road. There are two more couches a bit more down the road toward Common Ground. It is sad how people are disrespecting the beauty of West Rock. Please remove! Might New Haven ever consider a large item free removal day to discourage appropriate item disposal?!

dumping is rampant on this stretch of Springside! The city must do something to discourage this here!

Thanks for photo. It helps locate issue. We do need the help of the community who may have further information about the incident (description of car/persons etc) to call Non Emergency number (203) 946-6316. We or Parks Department will pick up items as soon as we can.

Do we have an idea of when this might be cleared? There have been several additional items in this location and along Springside since this was posted--several couches, large pieces of carpet, bags of trash. It's any eyesore, and terrible for our environment.
