Message: Alas once again Fairmont ave, (between Ferry St and Lancaster St that open space before the corner of Lancaster, has become yet again a dump site for trash, and old mattresses piled on top of three foot snow and ice hills! Been there for last two weeks. I know public works have had their hands full with the weather conditions, but it really does need to be removed! When are you going to install a camera there to catch the idiots that dump there??!? This area is a well known dump site for locals with refuse from renovation jobs, (old wood, paint cans, fencing materials, as well as discarded furniture and electronics). I have personally witnessed trucks stop and wait til traffic slows down so no one will see them , then empty the back of pick-up trucks and take off! I know public works gets repeated complaints about this spot, so why does it take so long between trash removals? Come spring you can count on it as people start to do upgrades and spring cleaning to their properties the cycle will be in full swing again!
