Hello Ryan, typically issues are closed once a service request has been created. Storm drains tend to go through cycles of thaw and melt and a request could conceivably be left open for a significant time frame under those conditions. It is preferred that separate requests for service are logged under a specific issue date.
For this request, the Storm Supervisor reported that the hot water truck was sent to clear this drain Feb. 24. In addition, to further assist with drainage, a snow clearing request was then passed along to our Snow Clearing Supervisor.
