The Code Officer did not see anything indicating that a handicap space was missing or previously there. No violation was found regarding code enforcement. Closed.

There was a designated handicapped space next to the ramp that enters the building. The pole and sign were removed. There is no longer a designated space and handicapped patrons no longer have a dedicated parking space to enter the building. It was the only space that had been designated for the building. Several weeks ago the owners of the building removed the pole and sign and since that time, building tenants (the company's employees) have been parking in the space during the day.

To repeat, the Code Officer saw no evidence of a handicapped space, but will check with Planning & Development Services to determine whether one was in the plans.

The Fire Marshall is being consulted about the concerns over the building's interior.
