Tree planted by city is now interferring with cable wires and need to be pruned back away from wires. It is also bulging up onto the sidewalk which is in dire need of repair. I assume sooner than later someone will bother to repair either one of these. Thanks

THE CABLES ARE NOT AFFECTED BY THE TREE THE CITY DOES NOT NEED TO PRUNE AROUND THE CABLES. THE CITY DOES NOT PRUNE AROUND ANY ABOVE GROUND CABLES. THE CABLES ARE PRIVATELY OWNED AND ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER. THE CITY PRUNES TREES FOR THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF RESIDENTS AND THE TREES. FOR INSTANCE CLEARANCE ABOVE SIDEWALKS OR ROADWAYS.

PEPCO prunes around power cables
