open fissure in the edge of the street next to curb. there is a piece of wood in it to notify anyone who parks there. quite extensive water erosion under the street. can see down 6 feet or so with flashlight. about 4-5 years, ago a big tree was cut down and sidewalk cemented over. might be related. eventually, there will be a car-sized crater when it goes.
