We can't park without being in the street, my car has been hit and now I have to pay a deductible to have it repaired. Orchard Street is so narrow especially my block, my address is 449 Orchard street.

Has any of you who are doing the complaining, though that maybe these fellow are tired from all the extra hours and they have been, behind the steering wheel of these city trucks. Many people think they have it great, when in fact they are tired of hearing what a crappy job they did. I think they have done a great job.

Agreed, Old Goat. This year snow plowing has been much better. For example, last year and 3 previous years residents on Eld, Pearl, Bradley work very hard to convince new neighbors to park on the even side and the City would not plow during the ban, or tow cars on the odd side.
This year, more neighbors followed the ban, cars were towed, and odd-side was cleared. A huge boost to morale, and set us up well for the following storms.
The cost is a concern, though, esp when not all City residents pay their back taxes.

My street only has parking on the even side and the residents still moved cars off the street and nothing was done. I have small kids that I have to risk getting out of the car on the driver side because the passenger side is blocked.
Car mirrors are being knocked off and my vehicle has been hit and damaged and the driver that did it just left.
Yes, there are parts of New Haven where they did great jobs but Orchard street in New Haven wasn't one of them.
