Most snowstorms, the street plows bury the sidewalk on the i-95 overpass on union st. Only occasionally do the sidewalk plows bother to clear the sidewalk afterward. This leaves pedestrians with a predicament. Walk in the probably slippery road with the non attentive (usually speeding) drivers, or walk on top of the slippery snow mountain, which puts you walking at sometimes a foot above the guard rail. If you fall, you are either going in to the busy street, or 30 feet down on to a busy interstate. Pretty much if you want to cross the bridge, you either risk getting hit by a car, or falling, then getting hit by a car. That whole intersection has almost gotten me killed numerous times, through no fault of my own, WITHOUT the sidewalks being buried.
