We have been enduring the same heavy truck and tractor trailer traffic 24/ 7 with no help from our Mayor. I'll bet if it were his neighborhood it would be dealt with quickly. They rattle the windows with what seems overloaded and speeding. This goes back to previous Mayor who told me the town could do nothing because it was a state road. I called the DOT in Boston and they informed me that it was not a state road the street belongs to Holyoke.

It is a scientifically proven health hazard...terrible for children, pets, birds, can cause mental illness, severe sleep and heart problems. This was posted on 6/11 why hasn't the City responded? We need a petition or virtual town hall meeting or something.

Also why are quiet hours in Holyoke 2 full hours off from all other towns (most places it's 10pm to 8am...in Holyoke it's 11pm to 7am). Why do we get 2 hours less of peace and quiet in Holyoke? We have jobs too...

Commercial vehicles should be banned from neighborhood streets from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.

Unless necessary for local deliveries only in the city of Holyoke and the suburbs

Without adding anything to these posts let's use this as our petition.
Mr Mayor this is a petition from the concerned citizens of Holyoke for you to make changes to our above concerns. We would like this added to city meeting agenda with the timely notification of this hearing posted in the usual manner of notification and also on this post.
All who are concerned ,without changes to this SCF just post I am in agreement to the above.
Everytime you do this the Mayor will see.
