When leaving the shopping center and driving straight from the straight ahead lane onto the ramp for I 440, the road crown for 6 Forks Rd. makes it impossible to see where the ramp is. I often find myself going directly straight, only to find out I am driving towards the median and need to move right.of course, if an SUV is in front of me and the driver is able to see where to go, I can just follow that vehicle. But I have a four-door sedan that sits low to the ground and I cannot see where to go past the road crown.perhaps the installation of a sign or other physical barrier will help drivers who are going straight onto the ramp see where the ramp is?

This location is at the traffic signal coming out of the North Hills East Shopping Center beside the CapTrust Building. The topography in the area and the crown on Six Forks road do not allow a driver to see the ramp roadway on the opposite side of the road going to the Beltline (I-440). I have learned to aim for the far right traffic signal-head which is actually centered over the center of the ramp lane. There needs to be an over-head sign or a sign on the left side of the ramp lane to indicate the location of the ramp lane.

Also, a set of dashed travel lines on the pavement going across Six Forks Road from the east side to the I-440 ramp on the west side of Six Forks Road would be helpful.

Keep Right sign has been installed in the median of the ramp.
