In the mornings between 8:30am and 9:00am, the light at the corner of Prospect and Edwards often malfunctions for drivers heading west on Edwards seeking to turn onto Prospect. This often creates a very long line of cars backed up all the way down Edwards Street, sometimes all the way to Whitney. The light sometimes never turns green, and cars begin to go through the red light just to get traffic moving.
