Opis

My neighbors and I are requesting a traffic study to be done on Millerfield Rd. Our homes are between 2991 and 3070 Millerfield Rd. There was a horrible accident last week that ended up with a fatality and a critically injured lady. A tow truck hit a van, causing it to flip up on its side. The tow truck ran off the road, tore a mailbox and its pole down, then hit their pecan tree. This is only one of many vehicle accidents that occur on this slightly curved area. Drivers are always speeding and passing in this area.
Nov. of 2021 I was hit and injured while turning in my driveway at 3020.
A young lady ran of the road 2 years ago hit my cement property marker, then the utility pole.
A driver ran off the road and hit a tree at 2991.
A driver ran off the road at 3070 and hit there front porch while their granddaughter was playing in the front room.
The front porch stoop at 3020 was hit, the car kept going into Mrs. Herndons front yard, barely missing her home.
Our mailboxes get destroyed regularly.
We witness many almost accidents.
There are deer living around here, they get hit on a regular basis.
I asked for Nigel to come out a couple of years back because it looked like our road was sinking at the storm drain area. He didn't see anything. I've asked for deer crossing signs to alert drivers, they are definitely living here.
We would greatly appreciate some assistance in making our road and neighborhood safer.
Thank you
