Thank you for your SeeClickFix notification dated January 25, 2015. Chief Holloway has asked me to respond directly to you regarding your issue with the abandoned vehicle at 6367 19 Avenue North. The information you provided was forwarded to Community Service Sergeant Richard Hladik to investigate.
Sergeant Hladik reported that he assigned Officer Caran Patrick to investigate the red vehicle which you stated has been sitting in the same place and not moved for months. You also stated it was in a “no parking” area. Officer Patrick advised she checked the area and located the vehicle. She stated the vehicle was properly parked, was more than 100 feet from the stop sign and the parking was not restricted by signage therefore it is not clear what you meant by “no parking” area. She also advised the vehicle was properly registered and parked near the registered address. The owner of the vehicle advised he would move the vehicle to his driveway, even though he is not required to, in order to avoid any other issues.
If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact the Community Service Unit at (727) 551-3183. Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention.
Sincerely,
Luke C. Williams
