Driving the wrong way is an endemic problem here and elsewhere in the neighborhood, as is speeding through the neighborhood to get to 91 and 95 (which, I'm guessing, involves cutting through the school parking lot the wrong way.) Another problem, I'm afraid, is school buses charging down the *middle* of Jefferson towards St. John, where they swing slightly left and then take a right onto Chestnut. If parents could speak to the principle and ask them to speak to the bus drivers that would be great.

About a week of police cruisers or state troopers ticketing cars and bus drivers would be even better for the school and the neighborhood.

Is it a few people who are repeat offenders? If so, maybe someone could get their license plate #s and the police could speak to them. Other than that, I think maybe having police double or triple patrols in the area during the drop off and pick up times for school is the best idea.

Parking alongs side the building is not a problem. parents have permission to park there seeing there is no where else to park cause the school share the lot with residence who are still parked there during drop off and pickup.

Who can give someone permission to park in a Fire Zone? In fact there is plenty of parking on the long side of the lot, just on the left when one first comes in and after the "driveway" straight ahead on the right..

It seems that driving with a child might inspire one to be a "good example" and encourage one to go the extra "mile" to park appropriately and away from a Fire Zone.
