This morning I was walking my dog on the West Side of the 4900 block of Tramway Ridge Dr. NE. It was around 09:30. I noticed a City of Albuquerque Street crew doing sidewalk repair/replacement work. I walk this same route with my dog twice a day. We walk once in mid morning and once around sunset. He is an old dog and walks very slow. This allows me to observe many things closely.

This morning the COA Street crew, (truck numbers 0024001, 12871202, 084013) were all in their trucks. I noticed that a number of concrete slabs had been removed and a bobcat was parked in the street. I also notice a hole in my neighbor’s wall (4932 Skyline View Ct. NE) around three inches in diameter that was not there the evening before. Another bad scrape on the wall near the fire hydrant by my other neighbor (4916 Skyline View Ct. NE) was also evident.

I walked up to the first truck and I asked the person in the driver’s seat if he was the supervisor. He said the supervisor was “Kenny” (sp) in the white truck and he pointed to truck # 0024001. I walked over to the truck and identified myself and asked him what his intentions are to fix the hole. He said he did not make the hole. I said it was probably done when the bobcat (I could see tracks leading onto the sidewalk). He said he was driving the bobcat and he did not hit the wall. I asked him if he was denying that he did the damage. He answered he did not do the damage.

I gave him my business card with my personal information on it and told him to talk to his supervisor and I was expecting a call back on the resolution of this personal property damage. I was in contact with the homeowner at 4932 Skyline View Ct. NE and she would be concerned about getting the damage repaired.

As you can see from the attached photos that the damage is fresh and I can attest that it did not exist the previous day. Furthermore, the neighbor immediately to the south of the damaged wall heard load noises earlier this morning in that same area.
