It is so hazardous to turn left on charlotte pike from Sawyer Brown road that hundreds of cars feel they have to go through the Baptist church parking lot. I got hit here and I was just sitting at the stop sign, minding my own business. I WILL not turn left here and that is not fair to the church. This is the worst intersection that I have ever seen.

Please do this as a way to honor Mr. Delk who was the grandfather of students at Nashville Christian School.

I agree with Sharon Hoover. If our offficals are allowing trucks to dump in a site off Charlotte Pike, the least they can do for the rest of us is to make it as safe as possible. My deep regrets to the family of Mr. Delk.

Cars and dump trucks speed on Charlotte Pike and it's dangerous to turn left off Sawyer Brown Road for fear of getting hit. You cannot see over the hill. We desperately need a light there...not just a flashing light..it does not work.
My prayers and thoughts are with the family of Mr. Delk.

Metro Public Works Engineers have conducted a study at this location and a traffic signal has been recommended, and approved by the T&P Comission. The project is currently under design, and we are coordinating the road widening portion for a new left turn lane into Sawyer Brown with TDOT.
