Thank You Armando - I am impressed that the City of Irvine tracks and can respond so quickly to issues posted here. These trapped BIKE ONLY items were on my to-do list & I saw just yesterday these reported issues were already addressed before my posts. On this one, the grinding took out the trapped section - but the bike only lane still ends after right turn only pocket begins, rather than ending where curb is still straight, (and there is no continuation to facilitate keeping in proper lane position like Newport & Lake Forest provide for vehicles to be reminded that they are weaving across a Class 2 bike route). The dashed line also serves to alert bicyclist that they should merge out of the BIKE ONLY lane with other traffic before being crossed by right turning vehicles.
