Description

As a resident off of Sugar Bush, I'm very grateful that this signal was recently activated, but the sensitivity on the inductive loop sensor seems to be too low. It will not detect my vehicle, which has high ground clearance, at all, leaving me waiting to turn left for 5-10 min until another vehicle finally approaches and triggers the signal. While this is a somewhat common problem for me, I have also witnessed more "typical" cars with normal ground clearance get stuck here for an extended period, occasionally opting to run the red. Would be further grateful if a technician could assess and bump the sensitivity up a bit.

also asked...
Q. What is the type of signal?
A. Vehicular
Q. Please describe the nature of the issue. (i.e timing, signal head twisted, etc)
A. Vehicle detector sensitivity for new signal too low on side streets
