Tractor trailer parking at this Poquonock Ave public lot remains ongoing and appears in conflict with the posted notice at the entrance of the site. Although I think this is State-owned land (please correct me if that’s incorrect), is this tractor trailer parking a permitted town zoning use?

Peter, you are correct that this commuter lot is state-owned and police matters in that lot are generally handled by the CT State Police, however it's likely that the State Police aren't going to enforce this. I will direct our officers to pay attention to the tractor trailers parked in the lot.

I know in Hartford at the new Pride Gas Station (off of Exit 33)... there's a relatively new Parking area for T.T. - We need to have the Poquonock Park & Ride or something similar in Windsor... so that the Truckers who may live in Windsor don't have to drive to and from Windsor/Hartford...
