There is a big couch on the sidewalk in front of 34 Lynwood Place in New Haven illegally dumped in October. I called several times police and finally on November 11, a police officer #204 came to issue a written report: Case # 14-059103. This has been 5 weeks ago but the couch is still there, now pieces of it falling off and making mess. I don't know anymore what to do. When I called the City in October, the person assured me that it will be removed soon. I just called the police several minutes ago and didn't get anywhere. How does the system work?
It would help if you posted the Lynwood Place complaint on a separate topic though. Hopefully someone will come and see this and show you how to do it.
We are closing older 2013-2016 Illegal Dumping Issues found on Public Spaces (roads, tree belts, sidewalks) in order to focus on current Issues. Many of the older issues were addressed through our Streets Division but were never closed. If your “public space illegal dumping” issue has not been addressed, please open a new See Click Fix issue. Thanks

Karen, see this issue for the 34 Lynwood address; I added your comment to it.
