Cars exceed speed limit on Oakwood Ave. It is dangerous to exit Frea park on to Oakwood especially turning south on Oakwood. Installation of traffic light will slow traffic and make it safer for drivers turning left and people crossing Oakwood Ave.

If drivers aren't comfortable pulling out on to Oakwood Ave from Frear Park Rd... there is a traffic light one block down at Park BLVD. Drive around the fountain loop, go down 15th street, take a right on Park Blvd and BOOM... there's your traffic light.
We don't need another traffic light on Oakwood Ave hill. That won't slow drivers down.
What we need is REGULAR PATROLS of police doing radar between Frear Park and Hoosick Street.

I normally cross Oakwood ave at Park, however, traffic does notsloww down unless the light is red for Oakwood. In addition there are several elderly people that cross Oakwood on foot and they are in danger (soe do not pay attentin as they cross)l
Police patrols and radar operate on Oakwood ave. but ther are oly so many police on duty in Troy and they can't spend all their time in one spot. They do the best they can.
