Description

The city of Troy has a problem with installing unnecessary stop signs. This intersection is another example of wasted taxpayer money as well as increased noise from stopping traffic, increased pollution from the stop & go, and is in violation of the MUTCD (http://mutcd.fhwa.dot.gov/),
which discourages the use of stop signs as traffic calming device. Traffic signs actually make streets more dangerous for motorists and pedestrians.
