For several years running, Whole Foods has been permitted short-term placement of two refrigerated containers in front of it's store on Bay Street, a historic facade and a highly visible location that was all must see. Can Planning/Code Enforcement not allow them to put these ugly containers in public view next year? Whole Foods certainly can make arrangements for an off-site location or use an appropriate on-site location.
I'm sure if they went before design review at the start of construction and said they'd place containers in front of the store for 1/6th of the year, they'd get denied. Let's catch up and make that happen next fall.
I know this is more of a long term CEDA issue, but I suspect a few people will vote in agreement to 'fix' this for next year.
Thank you!
